Customer Center can pull in Google Analytics data. To show Google Analytics data, you as the Client must authorize LOCALiQ to view this data. This is done by logging in to a Google account with access to the Google Analytics account and following the instructions from your CSM to allow LOCALiQ to read the data.

If you gave LocaliQ access via a service account, you can follow the instructions below to display Google Analytics data within Customer Center.

LocaliQ uses the industry-standard OAuth process to create this connection. Once you have authorized LOCALiQ to view your data, an access token and refresh token are stored in our database to refresh the data every time someone comes to that report. LocaliQ does not store the usernames and passwords of Google accounts in Customer Center. This allows you to remove LOCALiQ access to your Google Analytics data at any point via the Google security menu. (https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/3466521?hl=en)

How to Display Google Analytics Data in Customer Center

  • Within Customer Center, go to the Website Analytics report. This can be found in the Reports dropdown. If no existing connection can be found, Client Center will prompt you to log in with your Google account. Click the button to begin.

  • Log in to Google with an account that has access to the Google Analytics account you want to see. Follow the Google instructions to grant access to LOCALiQ.

  • Choose the account, web property, and the view that will show in Client Center (you can change this later if desired)

  • And Finished! View your beautiful Google Analytics data!

Updating the Google Account, Web Property, or View

Click the cog at the upper right of the Website Analytics Report. You'll be brought through the authorization process again and can make all new choices.

NOTE: Occasionally, the cached reporting may not update upon choosing new Analytics settings. Come back in a few minutes and refresh to see the updated reporting.
